Jani at Kotka Rannikkopatteristo...Driving the L-104. Top speed: 12,5 knots :-[

Daily morning cruise is almost done. The weather was usually like this every day at 07.05..in my memories.

This is the worse version of L boats we drove back there. L stands for linnake, fort.

I had also experiences at winter with a ship, Vahakari. It got pretty serious sometimes in winter storms: nearly 100 passengers onboard and had to steer and stay on course at night when big waves tried constantly turn the ship off from course. I was under supervising lieutenants eyes, but I usually had to do own decisions all the time to get to the next destination, for example from Kuusinen to Haapasaari. Generally it takes one hour to get there, sometimes more because of thick snow barricades below ice surface.

Finns : Look at Kotrpsto pages, if you are going to choose your servicing place soon. Its a good one no matter what they say... ;-)) & (BUAHAHAHAHaa)

Anyway, it was fun while it lasted. This is from the last day, when all the good boatdrivers of Kotprsto 2/94 had to go back to civil:Last day @ army greys
